Shipping and Return Policy of Online Purchases


This website and online store is owned and operated by Shum's Watches & Jewellery Pty Ltd (we, us and our). You agree to be bound by and abide by the terms of and conditions of this Shipping & Online Purchase Returns Policy when purchasing through our online store. 

  • Shum's Watches & Jewellery Pty Ltd will offer free express shipping delivery via Australia Post within Australia on all online orders over the value of AUD $1,000.00.  
  • Insurance coverage of the goods will be included and a person (aged 18 years or older) must be available to sign for the goods upon delivery. 
  • Shipping is not available on Saturdays, Sunday or any public holidays. Furthermore, in order to ensure security and protection of your goods, we will not dispatch any goods on Friday or a day before a public holiday.
  • We do not deliver to P.O. Boxes or Parcel Points or Lockers.
  • Tracking information and shipping updates will be provided to the email address provided by you. 
  • Please allow 2-4 business days for delivery. 
  • A member of Shum's Watches & Jewellery will always contact you prior to dispatch to confirm delivery details including recipient's full name as per photo identification, delivery address, email address and contact phone number. Please note, should we be unable to contact you or verify this information, we will not dispatch the goods. 

1. Change of mind

1.1 If, for any reason, you change your mind about your purchase of a product through this website, you have 7 days from the date you received your purchase to contact Shum's Watches & Jewellery to return your purchase in accordance with the returns process under Returns Clause 3. The cost to return the purchase is at bourne by the customer, unless the product is deemed to be faulty under Faulty Goods clause 4. 

Please note: This policy does not apply to purchases made and/or inspected in store.

All returns and exchanges will need to be inspected by Shum's Watches & Jewellery and an authorised watchmaker before approval and the following conditions must be met:
  • the product is returned to us in its undamaged original packaging and original condition with all accompanying documentation, certificates, accessories, gifts with purchase (where applicable), accompanied with its original proof of purchase documentation.
  • the product must not have been worn, used, tampered with or damaged in any way.
  • the product has not been customised, personalised, altered in any way; and
  • the product has all security and price tags attached that are untampered and unbroken. 

Should all the above conditions be met, then a full refund will be provided to you via the original payment method as detailed on the original proof of purchase documentation.  However, should any of the above conditions are not met, return/exchange will not be accepted and a refund or exchange will not be offered and the product will be returned to you. 

1.2 A return of goods that are marked as clearance or special items cannot be returned due to a change of mind; unless they are found to be a Faulty Good. 

2. Faulty Goods/Product
2.1 If the product you purchased through our website is found to be faulty or we have failed to comply with a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law in relation to your product, we may offer you the following remedies:

2.2 For a major fault, we will, at your discretion, offer you:
  • a full refund or a replacement product if you return the product to us in accordance with returns process in clause 3; or
  • compensation for any loss in value if you choose to keep the product

2.3. If the issue with the product is minor, we will, at our discretion, offer:
  • to repair the product within a reasonable time, or
  • to replace the product; or
  • provide you with a full refund

2.4. All products returned to us with a claim as a faulty product will be sent to the original manufacturer's authorised watch maker to assess for fault. Therefore, please allow us a reasonable amount of time to have your product assessed. We will not provide a remedy to you if you have caused the product to become faulty, the product has been damaged or altered after it was delivered to you, the product has been used in an abnormal way, contrary to the product’s instructions manual or not maintained in accordance with the recommendations in the instructions manual.

3. Returns Process
3.1. If you wish to return a product, please kindly contact us at or via phone on +61 2 92111 887 to speak with a team member. We will then guide you through the returns process. Alternatively, please feel free to return your item in store at 419 Sussex Street, Sydney NSW 2000 during business hours. 


During the warranty period (from the date of purchase as detailed on the warranty documentation, you are entitled to have manufacturing faults or manufacturing defects repaired free of charge. This does not cover:
  • ​Normal "Wear and Tear" or damage caused by misuse or accidental use
  • Leather straps or batteries 
  • Damage caused by a third party; such as servicing or repairs carried out by an unauthorised repairer. Please kindly ensure all services, repairs or checks carried out on your product is only done so by an authorised service centre as specified by the manufacturer. Otherwise, you will void all claim to the original manufacturer warranty.
